Minimum Operating Standards

There are some minimum operating standards that will need to be in place before an organisation is able to deliver the programme. The following must be in place in order to deliver HAF activities:

Deliverers must be able to provide copies of the following:

• Risk assessment for your venue and activities
• Charity articles of association / Memorandum of association
• Confirmation of public liability insurance (5 million)
• Appropriate Safeguarding policy and processes and evidence of recent training (you can be supported with this)
• Equality policy
• A level 2 food hygiene and food handling certificate (support and training available)
• Evidence of relevant first aid training
• Health and safety policy
• Fire safety and evacuation policy
• Photography & social media policy
• Complaints and whistle blowing policy
• Data protection / GDPR policy
• Recruitment checks including enhanced DBS, identity check and right to work in the UK
• Ofsted Registration or evidence of any exemption
